This weekend’s Digicel Pro League Round One Match Day Seven fixtures have been postponed to December in the interest of the National effort.

The Trinidad and Tobago National U23 team preparing for the Final stage of Caribbean Olympic qualifying in St. Kitts later this month with two teams advancing to the CONCACAF qualifiers is currently at a training camp in Tobago under head coach Angus Eve and assistants Derek King and Clint Marcelle with the training squad made up of League players.

And in the interest of the national effort, the TT Pro League has decided to reschedule Friday 18th fixture between St. Ann’s Rangers and DIRECTV North East Stars, and Saturday 19th clash between T&TEC FC and Caledonia AIA to facilitate the preparation of the U23 Team for the 2012 London Olympics.

The U23s will first take on Cuba on the 24th November, hosts St. Kitts on the 26th and Suriname on the 28th November.

The U23 training squad includes W Connection’s Joevin Jones, Mekeil Williams, Shahdon Winchester, Andre Marchan, Jomal Williams, Jerrol Britto and Jayson Joseph, Caledonia’s Jamaal Gay, Trevin Caesar, Aquil Selby, Micah Lewis, Nuru Abdalluh Muhammad and Zane Coker, Adam’s Construction San Juan Jabloteh Seldon Bateau and Leslie Joel Russell, St. Ann’s Rangers’ Kareem Moses and Akil Clarke, T&TEC FC’s Marcus Joseph and Aubrey David, North East Stars’ Jeromie Williams and Kaydion Gabriel, Marcus Chandoor of WASA FC, Santa Rosa FC's Jean-Luc Rochford and US based Cameron Roget.

The Conquering Lion of Judah shall break every chain.
