Andy Gray's out, Dwight Yorke in ??
bettor.com

Andy Gray, who's become one of the UK’s most popular football pundits on Sky Sports, has been publicly asked to leave after a leaked clip revealed him asking his former colleague, Charlotte Jackson, to tuck his shirt in for him.

Well, it was unfortunate, and possibly, some would say, a bit much to sack Andy for. There are, without a doubt, so many men out there that have a sexual joke with lovely ladies and, quite rightly, the women ignore them, hold their head up and carry on as if nothing has happened.

But it’s all done, all dusted. Now, Sky need to act fast to find a replacement for the larger than life co-commentator, the big question is WHO?

Well.. we’ve narrowed it down to the following:

Sam Allardyce –He’s recently had the shocking news of his own dismissal and ever since he’s had a couple of stints in the studio. He’s definitely got the experience, so this could be a viable option.

Alan Smith – Considered to be Andy Gray’s No.2 at Sky, Alan is sure to be a favourite replacement. A former Gunners player, who received only one yellow card throughout his entire career, Alan could be in for a promotion before the season’s over.

Jamie Redknapp – One of Sky’s team members already, Jamie certainly knows how to talk the talk but does he receive enough respect for his knowledge of the sport, and are his analytical skills in-depth enough to really tackle the role?

Don Goodman – A former striker that has played for a number of clubs over a 20 year career in league football, and already a Sky co-commentator, Don already knows the set up as well as the strategies and may be a good bet to become the next Gray.

Kevin Philips – Currently a player for Birmingham City, Kevin might be a bit inexperienced for this role, however, as a player who’s got an unusually stable love life for a footballer, and with rumours he’s ready to retire from football, he might be the best outsider for a job like this.

Dwight Yorke – A former player at Aston Villa and a playing and managerial career that spans many clubs, Dwight, who’s generally famous for a brief relationship with the British Page Three model Jordan who he has had a son with, has proved to be a lively co-commentator on various occasions and could possibly be worth a small bet.

It may take a bit of time to find the right person to replace Gray, but, being as Sky usually starts by looking in-house we’re putting our money on Jamie as the first player to be selected.

The Conquering Lion of Judah shall break every chain.

Premier League - Sky drops presenters over sexism storm     Mon, 24 Jan 14:42:00 2011

Sky Sports presenters Andy Gray and Richard Keys have been dropped for tonight’s match between Chelsea and Bolton for sexist comments made about a lineswoman.

The pair had been chatting while working on the channel's coverage of Liverpool's Premier League victory against Wolves at Molineux, but their microphones were still on and the comments were picked up and later passed on to the media.

"I have spoken directly to both Richard Keys and Andy Gray this morning," Sky Sports boss Barney Francis said. "It has been made clear to each of them that their comments were totally unacceptable.

"Those views are inexcusable, entirely inconsistent with our ethos as a business and employer, and will rightly offend many of our customers, our people, and the wider public.

"They are inexcusable from anyone at Sky, regardless of their role or seniority.

"We have dealt with this matter by taking immediate disciplinary action. As with any employee it would not be right to go into detail on those proceedings.

"However, they have been clearly warned about their behaviour and reminded of their responsibilities.

"In addition, Richard and Andy will not be involved in any way with tonight’s live Monday Night Football."

The comments, which were at the expense of female lineswoman Sian Massey, implied that women could not understand the offside rule.

In the first half of the game - Massey's second game in the Premier League - there was a close call to officiate as Fernando Torres of Liverpool struck the opening goal.

But replays showed that her decision to rule Torres onside and allow the goal to stand was the correct one. Liverpool went on to win the fixture 3-0.

"Somebody better get down there and explain offside to her," Keys was reported as saying on the leaked tape.

Gray replied: "Can you believe that? A female linesman. Women don’t know the offside rule."

"Course they don’t," Keys replied. “I can guarantee you there will be a big one today. Kenny (Dalglish) will go potty. This isn’t the first time, is it? Didn’t we have one before? Wendy Toms?"

In reference to Toms, the first female referee's assistant to officiate in the Premier League, Gray opined: “she was f***ing hopeless as well."

Right! He is such a blow hard and lacks substance. The wearing of those outfits go inline with the image he is attempting to create; that he is this harmless character ,while consistently bleating anti European rhetoric speak!
