St Johnstone's Collin Samuel praises striker Stevie May

St Johnstone's Collin Samuel says he is delighted with the progress being made by his young strike partner Stevie May.
The 18-year-old scored twice as Saints beat Hamilton 2-0 at McDiarmid Park.
"He has lots of attributes, he is a good striker of the ball and every time he lifts his head he is prepared to go for goal," said Samuel.
"He got two goals against Hamilton Accies on Wednesday night and I'm really happy for him. He is growing in confidence every time he plays."
Samuel played a key role in May's first goal, powering into the Hamilton box before cutting the ball back for the youngster to roll it into the net.
Only a smart save from Tomas Cerny prevented the pair creating a sublime second for May on the stroke of half-time, following a brilliant interchange on the edge of the box.
The 18-year-old from Newburgh did double his tally after the break, reacting first when the ball ran into the box from Alan Maybury's blocked tackle and flicking it into the net, and Samuel believes they are striking up a natural understanding.
"It is the second time we have played together up front and it's good we have that kind of understanding when we play on the pitch," said Samuel.
"We do train hard and we'll see how it goes from here."
The win moved St Johnstone into seventh place in the league, putting them level on points with sixth-placed Dundee United, although they have played three games more, but Samuel says the Perth club has to believe they can finish in the top six.
"There is every chance that we can do it," said the 29-year-old. "We just have to go on week in, week out and get as many points as we can."
