FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) - About 4,000 Brazil fans have already booked accommodation eight months before the 2006 World Cup in Germany, the organizers said Wednesday.
The Brazilian tourists have picked Cologne as their base for the championship.
A 3,000-strong Mexican contingent has booked rooms in Duesseldorf and about 2,500 Argentine fans are concentrating in Frankfurt.
About 1,000 American fans have booked rooms in Hamburg, where the United States team will be based during the June 9-July 9 competition.
The draw to determine where the 32 qualified teams will play will be held Dec. 9 in Leipzig.
