No Kazakhstan for Cyrus.

There is little chance of Caledonia AIA footballer Daneil Cyrus joining his Trinidad and Tobago National Under-20 teammate Robert Primus in Kazakhstan.

Keith Look Loy, Cyrus' local agent, is expecting opportunities to soon come the way of the 20-year-old T&T international defender, but playing in the former Soviet republic is not among them.

Primus recently signed a three-year-deal with Kazakhstan Premier League champions FC AKtobe.

Cyrus recently had a successful trial with American Major League Soccer (MLS) club Sporting Kansas City and was offered a contract.

However, Look Loy said that the offer was not an attractive one and so was rejected.

Cyrus is registered with Look Loy's East Zone club 1st Santa Rosa FC and has been on a season-long loan with Trinidad and Tobago Pro League club Caledonia AIA.

I just read this in the express and i was just about to post it.  I am curious to know wat "opportunities" are coming soon for him..........lol

I could see Keith Look-Loy watching over him wit some fangs

I know I would probably get some stick for this, but...I doh see what the big fuss about Cyrus is  ???
He aaaiiiigght...but he ent nothing spectacular as I seem to be hearing in a lot of corners.

a pardna of mine attended the sporting kansas city camp down here...he said that was look loys modus operandi...with santa rosa entering the pro-league they need some funds...
