WI Sports joins Pro League as main broadcast partner
ttproleague.com

Local sports channel, WI Sports will be broadcasting full coverage of the Oasis Youth Pro League announced by League CEO Dexter Skeene last Friday.

The delighted Skeene was speaking during the official launch of the 2011 Oasis Youth Pro League season when he made the announcement.

“I am delighted to announce our new broadcast partner for the TT Pro League’s Youth League, WI Sports, the only local sport channel broadcasting local sport content 24/7,” said the TT Pro League CEO.

Skeene applauded WI Sports adding, “A brave, very brave and visionary decision might I add, as we live in a country were local for many means not as good as foreign.”

WI Sports has already begun broadcasting Oasis Youth Pro League matches with the second match-day played last Sunday.

The totally local sport content WI Sports, aired on Flow channel 14, has also been a main broadcaster of topflight Pro League matches last season and will continue to do so with the 2011-2012 season scheduled for August 2011-May2012.

The Conquering Lion of Judah shall break every chain.

Think Wi is closely associated with Synergy, but its Peter Lewis who runs it. They have been showing recorded Pro League games since last year and the coverage, while not exactly EPL standard, is pretty good.

I'm pleased to see a formal agreement in place.
