Yes, and he was with the team in Colombia. I'm not sure if that squad list is accurate as Shabazz mentions how Carl Cort is likely to play in the article but he's not in the squad the listed. I know they made some cuts from the squad in Colombia the other day, so its possible he got cut.

I agree, the crossbar and a poor finish towards the end resulted in Guyana missing out. This Guyana team is definitely one to watch for the future. Shabbazz seems to be doing a good job.

same with our old team, talent to burn, but lack of concentration and text book mistakes especially in the defensive third, allowed teams like costa rica , mex and USA to appear superior.

caribbean football needs serious restructuring if we are to be taken seriously in the world of football, but then again, look who lead the union for eons.

Imagine, we have top players but we sitting home watching a "semifinal" round of qualifying!

and it's not that we're not talented enough, it's just that the crabs who have a hold on that country, from the politicians to the sports administrators treated our countries resources like it's their own personal business, and the sheep down there sit down and allow them to get away with it.

Anyone surprised at Panama's 2-0 victory away in Honduras hasnt been watching them recently. Panama actually played in the Gold Cup Final a couple years ago, and only last year they actually defeated the United States at the Gold Cup. This is a team with a very lethal front line, and some very experienced defenders, i believe half theyir players play in various leagues in South America. It wasnt surprising to me also that they recently just snapped Jamaica's 5-years home winning streak in a set of two friendlies where they beat Jamaica 1-0 and 2-1 respectively. Honduras goos is cooked now...they have commited the cordinal sin of losing @ home, they have to play catch up now.

Also, hats off to Antigua and Guyana for putting out good efforts against the USA and Mexico respectively. The days of USA and Mexico drubbing caribben teams 6 and 8 nil seems to be behind us now. Tough luck Cuba, but it shows how poor Canada is on the road.

Jamaica - Disappointing result in the end...they played well enough to have come away with a 3-0 win, and an excellent chance to get a +2 or more goal average on the team they will most likely be fighting directly for the second spot through from the group. Jamaica will now have to go to Guatemala and get a tie or victory to ensure passage (along with very good results vs Antigua). But 3 points is 3 points, ill take it.
