With quite a few of our athlethes involved, I figure some will be intersted in following along.

The meet started 20 minutes ago with the ladies 4x1. Just missed seeing LSU run, but they posted a good time.

Very unfortunate for both. ZH ran a PB and still did not qualify. Exact time as KJ.

Well I saw both races and Hewitt did very well considering he was in lane 1, Hackett should have been more diligent in seeking out where the new finish line was after the officials they decided to switch running directions and make the finish line the start line.

A bit unfortunate but she got next year and she still has the 200m and 4x100m- so lets see how she deals with this. Hopefully she got the mindset of bouncing back, she has worked too hard to let any oppurtunity slip.

On the plus side their 4x100m team clocked 42.94 which is great and it's the fastest they've ever run and it was the prelims! This is what I wanted from them- a sub 43s clocking and they produced it!

Hopefully our Women's team can run a sub 43. A sub 43 can put them in medal contention at the worlds.

hackett made the 200 final as i expected but i dont expect her to finish higher than 5th, her teammate should win.

22.39! Kimberlyn should be on target for at least 1 sub-22 next year and she only a sophomore... madnessss! Semoy better bring it in that final because she should be 2nd to her teammate only I'm just hoping she was conserving energy for the final.
Great pb for kai selvon 23.07 and just misses out hmmm. Good prospects for nationals keep your head up!

15 years ago Ato set both the NCAA meet record(9.92) and a college best of 9.90, but today both marks were erased by a long jumper who began to make himself known as a sprinter this season. Job well done to the native of Zimbabwe. He also has a very respectable long jump at 8.30 metres

Correction to my post above he has jumped 8.40m and that also won him the long jump competition. That distance woud have alo have him ranked no worse that 7th in the world going back to 2008.

So Kai Selvon ran a 50.6 anchor for Auburn in the women's 4x400m relay to stretch Jessica Beard to her 49.14 anchor split - impressive for a 19 year old T&T female athlete

Very proud of what split kai produced and its crazy that we have seen a 9.89 at college level amazing!

Semoy ran a great race it's just that lane one was always guna be hard for her- a better lane and we would have seen a better place and faster time.
