Another strong 100m field. It will be intersting to see if Bledman could reproduce his form from this weekend past. Also looking forward to see if Burns has progressed from that poor showing of form down in Brazil, which will give us a better indication of what can be expected at trials. Based on the results of the season to date, Bledos and Torpedo have their respective spots booked to WC once they hold their form, so it will be down to the old guard of Brown and Burns battling for that last spot.

Women's 200m will also be a race worth watching.

P.S. anyone know what's up with KAB????? Has been MIA since her run in Kingston ???

So Quow runs 46.x and gets beaten by the bionic man, Gordon is struggling way off the pace. ??? Luckily for Gordon unlike his American counterparts he only has to worry about peaking once this year and is 10 weeks away. However I will wait to see how he performs un July to make a definitive statement. Lets see what Bledman and RT come with later.

I am saying it now. Bledman cutting everybody tail at nationals. Like i said in a previous thread placing is everything, times are circumstantial. he lost by only 3 feet to the first and second ranked 100m sprinters i nthe world this year and beat Rodgers who has been very consistent this season. Bledos might go sub-9.90 before the year is out....

On another note FYAH BUN that false start rule!!!

It is clear who T&T number 1 sprinter is now. Race for 2nd will be between RT and DB. Sad to say, but things seem to be on the decline for MB.  RT is also not fairing the best either. Nationals will be interesting. With the new track and the competitiveness of the 100m....expect to see some sub 10s with the fireworks.

Mulling lucky Gay hesitated out the blocks... because he walked him down at the tape and barely mistimed his lean.

KAB is injured

That is a shocking blow. You know the extent of the injuries A.B? Will she make it in time for worlds?

KAB is probably our best medal hopes for World champs. As it stands, the only medal guaranteed is probably a bronze in mens 4x100. With the mediocre performance at Carifta and the current performances of our past medal winners, it is fair to say that this year will not be the best for T&T track and field. I hope I am proved wrong.

KAB is injured

Well that explains her absence since the first week of May. This was obviously a practice injury, so hopefully it did not happen while going at top speed, thereby limiting damage.

Praying she comes back in time to have some meaningful races to sharpen up for World's.
