Neither are allrounders.
Bravo is the only allrounder in the team.
However, both Sammy and Rampaul are tail enders who bat well. Their batting can certainly be developed a la Malcolm Marshall.
VB
Rampaul has always been a decent batsman and can still develop. However, the guys at the top (1 to 5) need make big runs.
The problem with Sammy is that he is neither here nor there as a batsman or bowler. Don't get me wrong, I like his approach to the game and sometimes you need a no frills player as a leader, but being neither one or the other affects the balance of the team. With Edwards back, a balanced attack would be Edwards, Rampaul and Roach, with bishoo as the spinner. Bravo would be allrounder in the side. J Taylor on the sidelines is also a good thing but I am not sure how he is progressing injury wise.
As it is right now u have batting lineup of nash (who is out of sorts right now), sammy, bravo, rampaul and baugh.....who are all similar kinda players and it makes the tail very long. Samuels (or Gayle) could provide some orthodox spin options which u need in a test match.....but both are out of the side.
So as it is we will find it hard to bowl out sides twice, contain a batting side that is on to, bat out the 4th day of a test.
