Anyone saying that the USA plays rough and nasty OBVIOUSLY does not look at hos sting that Brazil team plays!

ofc the usa play very physcial, go back over the course of their 20+ year hegemony. This is what you call cause and effect response by other teams to physical ones. And its just not the usa that does it. Its a tactic normally employed by less technical teams against technical opposition  to throw their rhythm off. some times it works well some times it doesn't. Sometimes you get some teams that are both.

Thanks for the analysis..dey damn nasty

That brazilian coach is a rel corneal..... so much talent yet so disorganized tactically

They only get to play 1 or 2 warm up before this tournament.

but still you have to have a plan or some sort of plan...seems as if he doesn't have any

Gol 1-0 Brasil Marta. She made sure that she didn't touch her and she fell on her own. Heard the boos to go with it

Nah boy, I only saw it on dah last replay.  Marts shove de gyul on de ground oui.....shoulda be a foul.  But dem Danes usin' dey body well to try and enforce some kinda physical superiority.

Chow is Norwegians amigo not Danes :) Just drop in to check the score and see the goal. Two fouls on that goal and no call.

:rotfl: Tanx, Padnah, is de hangover.......aaahhhhm.....:beermug:

the ref could have called it either way cause the ball wasn't playable for the defender

Nah, Jed, is only one way de ref coulda call dat.  Matra chove de gyul wit she hands.....a ball doh have to be "playable" for an infraction to have been committed and called by de ref.

Just like Equatorial Guinea, Norway lost the plot.

2 quick goals from Brazil. That back pass deserve a Tim Howard type cuss out.

You eh have ah f@#king clue. They should look like the softball team that the USA have out dey. Ah set ah freaking dinosaur playing.

Brazil playing open, Norway not even pushing people forward to support. They disorganized, but they getting in behind the organized Norwegian defense.

Boss, doh get tie-up.  Brazil as a footballing nation, has blessed the world with some of their greatest football by having a team of great, improvisational, individual talent and when they were among the least "organized" teams.  After their failures of '74 through '90, the Brazilians realized that they HAD to step up their defensive organization to reclaim their title as champions.  Their women's game, still relatively in its infancy stage is going to be an ebb and flow of talent against organization.  Against most teams, they can get by on one alone
