Thing about to heat up now... Thomis with she pace about to come on.

france knocking serious ball usa look like dey playing boom kick ball....
war

USA been playing boom kick ball... allyuh waggonists is de greatest yes.

dat real unfair Bakes...they play decent, it is just the finesse of the other teams that show them up...they do string passes together and they do try to play their forwards into the game..steupos

You must be mad... US have nutten in midfield... all dem playing for is long ball on set pieces and diagonal runs.  Anyways... dem teams and dem ent figure it out so if it keep working why change it.  ::)

For a big girl Wamback falls down really easy boy...and she scores again  ;D

Big Up!

Wambach is ah beast in the box... everywhere else and she's a falling leaf.  De American Drogba.

France still ent figure out how to keep ah body on she on dem set pieces.

As ah type Georges fack up de scenes now... steups

Wambach is a beast...period!

As I was saying France lose the zeal after they scored...let the USa back in, USA got more and more possession and that is always dangerous/

Bakes I find that Boxxx real calm and does help the US in midfield a lot...she has been making smooth and important passes...nah man...their mid is not the best but they not as bad as nutten..come on man

The difference is technical finishing....If France was technical at finishing.  Game done.

did you guys see.. once you knock the ball  and take controll of the ball is a different game. France was knocking the ball frm the minute the game started. USA start knocking the ball in th 76th minute or so.. and look what happen in the game.. France played well but usa defence and last 15 minutes pulled it out for them.. Congratus to USA.. France you look good but not good enough to beat my Team USA..  USA In The Finals Please leave the boom kick ball tatics to the professionals.. (TNT man senior team) and knock the freeking ball like you guyts did at the end of the game..

USA's defense is much better than France's. They did real good to weather that French storm.
The French goalie was at fault for Wambach's goal.  Plus France need a finisher.
For all the pretty play France had, the best shot was from a defender and the goal was a lucky goal.
They were also taking too many long range shots.

All I could think of now is that Necib needs to be comforted tonight.

The French goalie coulda make a better play on the ball but the French defender escorted Wambach into the box, failed to get goalside of her, and then to top it off, never left the ground.  Set pieces was giving them fits all day and honestly, with better finishing by the US the game would not have been close.  As you say... the defenses (and poor French finishing) was the difference.  Even the French goal was a fluke.

France left their best goalie at Home- Coach could not get along with her so he said she does not fit this team- Whatever that means. France needed a finisher and USA defence stood tall. As the USA coach said it is pure heart from the USA , never say die attitude and fitness. Then again Goals win matches ask Arsenal's Wenger.

Saw the 2nd half - typical case of a team giving pretty much everything they have to chase the game, then having nothing left in the tank after - Happened to the U.S. men's team against Ghana in the last W.C.

France looked nice on the ball, but they are not a complete squad -very vulnerable at the back, and lacking overall horsepower...

The U.S. is very deceptive because individually they don't conduct it like ballers, but collectively they are very very fit, and extremely disciplined, and they don't give the opposition an inch in the defensive third unless yuh work for it...One-on-one they look very ordinary, but they back eachother up, and work very hard for eachother so they don't get too stretchd and they keep the silly mental errors to a minimum - in the women's game that's enough to grind out victories because the game is not yet at the point where you yet have complete ballin' squads with the full complement of skill, organization and athleticism...most teams still missing at least one of those qualities.
