Correction 44.61, but that was a very controlled run. Everyone else was bent over and de yute man was not even breathing hard.

Overall that was just a poor race from Richard....beginning, middle and end. Not much better from Bledman either. Hoping to see a serious turn around in form next weekend for trials.

Man I cheered for him like he was a Trini - love the youth, 18 years old and not phased by the moment. The other guys looked a bit shell shocked, just as they were thinking that Wariner is out of the picture, in jumps Merritt, and now Kirani

KJ is on another level. Hope he keeps focus, because the sky is the limit.

With regards to RT, dont know why is he starting so low now. He cant afford to give these guys a virtual head start. Maybe the 200M beckons henceforth!

Jeter won the race in 10.93(-0.4m/s)n with KAB second in 10.97. SAFP was 3rd in 11.10.

Kelly-ann looked good today and if she keeps it up, will be in serious contention for a medal.

KAB should catch Jeter by Daegu. KAB should be 2nd or 3rd seed by now.

jeter on fire these days....plus those yardies know how to show up in championships, i would bet on KAB for a bronze but i believe she can pull off ah silver.  new false start rule will impact the 100m for both men and women.

yea but this is 2011 bro..running just under 10 sec is not enough to compete for a medal anymore. He HAS to peak at under 9.9 to medal.

My sentiments exactly. Even though not close up to see her face, I find she look easy coming down there. Don't seem she was doing too much and she came from behind too....she could upset in Daegu!

She is in great form and can still get better. I know I wasn't the only one that saw her run that 11.22 into that -1.2m/s headwind while she shut it down from about 50-60m out.. if conditions are right that NR will be broken. I dare say she is ready to run 10.7x.

I have no doubt that Kelly ann can beat Jeter, but I feel like Jeter will run her fastest race of the year (which will most likely be in 10.7s) at the Worlds..

point taken...i also noticed that Jeter cheeks was jumping at d end of d race too, so she seems to be doing just enough as well. If they both get good starts the finish wud be spectacular at worlds..and yuh know VCB will be gunning for them too.
