Took in the Barca v Espanyol game yesterday...
That game was pure entertainment. Barca came out looking lacklustre and off key.. Probably suffering from hangover from the World Club Championship or jet lag or something, but they didnt look like themselves at all. Messi more than anybody look totally out of the game.
Espanyol take the game to them and the midfield was battling, but the side on a whole was comedy. The keeper and the defender try to gift Barca goals in the first 15 minutes with hospital back passes and bad clearance. Then if i had a dollar for every miskick, bad trap, wild shot dem Espanyol forwards try when they was in decent positions to score i woulda be rich. They have a man name Thievy who is the very epitome of shitong, and a next man name Verdu who was just as bad if not worse. I thought them men get pay off or something.
Anyway, after Fabregas score it was end to end action whole game, but in truth the Espanyol goal was always coming.. A poisoner in the 85th minute. Then in injury time, Pique rock the crossbar and a defender save the follow up off the lines with hands, but the ref miss it.
Bess game though. Barca 5 points behind with work to do.
