I've noticed a recognizeable Caribbean influence on younger black british accents... I like it alot. 

With my untrained ear I don't know that I've necessarily heard enough to discern the Caribbean influence myself,  but I find that in general they sound different from whites.

Mainly Jamaican like 'bare' and 'man dem'.

Most Trini accents are sexy, but, sorry to say, ah nice Jamaican gyal accent melts meh!

My ex was London born St Lucian and had a wicked accent.  Don't like the accents from most of the Brit influenced islands like Bermuda, Barbados etc.

Many white & black youths in London have picked up Caribbean accents, passed down by the Windrush generation to their grandkids and copied by the white youths. Its very "street" for young black guys to carry a Jamaican accent, even when their families are from other islands.
