where oh where did that 9.85 go Richard?

His 2011 season is drawing to a close and hopefully he can run another sub-10 before it closes off.
At this stage in the season after a major champs it is more important for RT to place in the top 3 and take a few world class scalps than focusing too hard on trying to run another 9.85.

Depending on who RT comes up against if he beats most of the other guys in the race and can be in the top 3 then the sub-10 times will automatically come again as a result.

Good luck Richard running against Bolt and company this Tuesday evening at 7:55pm Croatia time (6:55pm UK time) at the Zagreb Meeting in Croatia!

When factoring in the wind, that is one of Richard's best runs for the year. Looks like he might have a non-POS sub10 afterall this year if the weather hols up in Brussels.

Correction: he is not on the start list fro Brussels. So that looks like it for 2011.

Thanks for the wind speed Aviator. I forgot to make note of it!

Not a bad final race for the season from Richard! Now that his season is over, get some rest, recharge those batteries and build some more muscle and power over the winter for next season coupled with more 200m races and barring injury I am sure RT can make amends in London for his poor showing at Worlds!

I'm happy for the fact that with each race he has gotten closer to Kim who has beaten him all but once this season(dont hold me to that because I may be wrong). So it tells me he has improved and I think it gives him confidence for next year. If this off season he does his homework he'll know the areas for improvement and have worked on them and he know's he'll have to go after the new 4 elite (if tyson comes back fully which seems doubtful but I don't right him off- he is the hardest working guy out there). He knows the 9.85 is in him...its just a matter of transferring the form t meets outside the comfort zone i.e. Trinidad.

Can anyone post the video recording of this race?!

I think if Richard had had a better start he would have possibly dipped just under 10s and beaten Collins into 3rd place!

Ok thanks!! RT looked decent, I think if he had two more races to run before his season ended he would most likely have produced another sub-10!!

Hope RT does the right things for next season including putting on a bit more muscle and running more 200ms and I think he can be the surprise package of the London Olympics!!
