Actually is the defence that kept us in all the games. We had flashes of brilliance in all 3 games, but all 3 teams had better ball control, movement and possesion. Yes, our guys had good counter acts at times but those were not enough to keep those teams off balance. The problem I have with our team is composure when they had the ball. The 2 wing backs especially made bad passes and was vooming the ball a lot. At times they could have control and tried shorter passes, but when you on the field is a different matter. The Uruguay goal appeared soft, but that ball skipped off the turf, plus the GK was kind of outa position. But he made some grand saves to keep us in the game.
Good effort. This was a good experience for them. Now back to the TTFF.
