Fana Ashby!
« on: October 11, 2011, 02:52:31 PM »
Has she officially retired from athletics?

Fana would be 30 now and seeing that is 2 years younger that World Champ Jeter maybe the best from Fana could still be ahead of her if she decides to make a comeback for the London Olympics next year and press for a 100m qualification spot.

Can anyone confirm if she has officially retired?

To my knowledge Fana's last race was in 2009. She is now married and a mother.

In my humble opinion there is no chance of a comeback from her whatsoever

That Jeter reference makes no sense since Jeter has actually had a consistent pro career since 2007. Let's look to the future nuh, and not the past. Fana is not walking through that door anytime soon.
