Orlando City releases two players
Orlando City Public Relations

Orlando City has released two players from the 2011 USL PRO Championship winning squad, left back Jack Traynor and striker Devorn Jorsling.

Traynor was fixture in Orlando City’s league-best defense in 2011, but saw his playing time cut short in the playoffs. He registered just 45 total minutes in the three match run the USL PRO Championship.  Traynor has already found a new home in USL PRO with the Rochester Rhinos.

Jorsling made 16 league appearances for the Lions in 2011, totaling 761 minutes and three goals.  He also totaled 165 minutes over two Open Cup appearances, and scored twice in Open Cup play.  Jorsling’s most notable contribution to Orlando City was converting the game-winning penalty kick at the conclusion of the USL PRO Championship Game.  Jorsling is currently a free agent.

“We wish both players well,” said Head Coach Adrian Heath.  “Both Devorn and Jack are fantastic professionals, and were a joy to have in the squad.  We wish them nothing but the best in their endeavors.”

The majority of Orlando City’s 2011 championship-winning team returns for 2012.  Aside from Jorsling and Traynor, only Lawrence Olum has left the club.  Olum signed with Major League Soccer’s Sporting Kansas City following the USL PRO season, and finished 2011 in MLS.

Transaction:
Orlando City (USL PRO) releases DF Jack Traynor
Orlando City (USL PRO) releases FW Devorn Jorsling

I wonder if it's a ripling effect of what's going on with Football in T&T but is seems like all our foreign based players are suddenly being affected by it,they are all scrambling or having to adjust their positions with this transfer window in process,i guess this is the nature of the professional world of Football.

More reason, not that we need one, to get our house to be in order

Cosistency in your perffomance throughout the season is also critical. So considering his scoring prowess with Army and the national team , then only produce 3 goals??? It's difficult for a manager to get that lack of production and not look for other options. Wish him all the best!
