The US's team is basically their world cup squad and assuming countries like Brazil, France, Japan and Australia are there it could be as exciting as the world cup.
Mexico beat the USA in Cancun Mexico in Gold Cup qualifying 2-1 which (gold cup) doubled as a WC qualifier. Mexico & Canada were1st & 2nd in the Gold Cup & went to the WC. USA had to play UEFA # 5 (Italy) in order to qualify for the WC. Which we all now they did.

Cameroon defeated Nigeria 4-3 on penalties after their tie had finished 3-3 on aggregate, while South Africa defeated Ethiopia 4-1 on aggregate to qualify for London 2012.
