Doh worry with sam true, he resides in new york to be exact, which is very much a cosmopolitan metropolis, and he still behaves like a country bumpkin. IMO sam have ah real beef with african ppl, and even though many haitians are of non afro decent, in his mind he could only see the afro image. if i was you i would not take his comments to heart, he will grow up one day.

Wait,,,,, I have ah real beef with african ppl.....  :rotfl: :rotfl:

Who prick you sucking ?

Not African, even though de Nigerians feel they smarther than everybody, but just de Jamaicans I dont like, get it right. I have plently friends from Haiti and never met one bad one in 15 years since ah here in NY.

De Indians from India had to be one of de worst I ever met though.

Connection, Caledonia awaits CFU final leg fixtures.
ttproleague.com

It seems the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) has a very tedious task in scheduling the CFU Club Championship final leg which qualifies three clubs for next season’s CONCACAF Champions’ League.

TT Pro League clubs W Connection and Caledonia AIA and United Soccer League (USL) clubs Antigua Barracudas and Puerto Rico Islanders are all into the Club Championship final-four round which would also reveal the 2012 Caribbean champions following a round robin format.

It is understood that with the USL season still in motion, the CFU in dialog with all four clubs are looking for the most suitable window to schedule the final round in either June or July with Trinidad already agreed upon as the host country.

Two-time defending CFU Club Champions, Puerto Rico Islanders qualified out of Group Four contested in the Cayman Islands from May 21-25 along Caledonia while home side George Town finished without a point in the group which featured just three teams following a pullout by Haitian club Baltimore.

Caledonia played to a 0-0 draw against Islanders in the opening match and in the second match, the Morvant/Laventille slapped late a 5-0 win over George Town.

Assistant coach Jerry Moe told ttproleague.com, “Against Islanders it was a high standard and high intensity clash. We did well and restricted them to chances from distance.

In the second match against George Town we were wasteful in our chances, but the second half we had it all together in terms of the tempo and the finishing.”

Strikers Devorn Jorsling (47th and 70th minutes) and Trevin Caesar (72nd and 76th minute) got a pair of goals each and one from Conrad Smith (80th minute) completed the Caledonia victory.

W Connection, the 2011-12 Digicel Pro League Champions, qualified out of Group Five contested in Trinidad between May 6-10 by defeating Haitian club Victory SC 2-0 and hammering Surinamese side Inter Moengotapoe 6-0 despite going under 1-2 its final group match against Barracudas which needed full points to qualify.

So wait, CFU only gets two spots while central and north america gets the brunt of the places??!!  :pissedoff:  something real fackin rotten and disrespectful about that! same with the gold cup, the north americans don't have to qualify for the tournament, while central america despite having way less teams than CFU, gets to have 5 spots.

the caribbean nation on the other hand, make up the bulk of the teams in concacaf, and yet gets the least amount of spots in all tournaments, someone needs to change these unfair policies, and yeah, the gold cup needs to start hosting in other concacaf nations, and fack the financial repercussions!
The pen is mightier than the sword, Africa for Africans home and abroad.Trinidad is not my home just a pit stop, Africa is my destination, final destination the MOST HIGH.

The only way the Caribbean teams can turn that imbalance around is by winning the Concacaf CL. Now Renraw gone is guava and dry season for CFU. Especially TT. We eh getting no favours.

Apart from maybe Joe Public, other T&T clubs never got favors in the CFU tournament.

The Puerto Rico Islanders will face W Connection of Trinidad, while Antigua Barracuda FC takes on Caledonia AIA in the June 19 semifinals of the Caribbean Club Champions Cup to determine two of the three remaining berths in the CONCACAF Champions League.

The Caribbean Football Union announced its plans Tuesday for the final stage of its club championship in Marabella, Trinidad, pitting the two second-round group winners against the runners-up from the opposite group.

One thing with Concacaf. It may not be EuroCl or SA CL, but is plenty traveling. Imagine the group with Seattle. Flight to Miami 3/4 hrs. Then another 4hrs  to Seattle. It takes plenty resources to particpate in CCL. No wonder the English Caribbean can;t done well.

I think once you reach the group stage, all costs are covered. And next season, teams will automatically enter the group stage. Its the CFU rounds that put financial pressure on teams.

Interesting that the 3rd place CFU team get to play Galaxy. If they get their act together, that could pull in more sponsorship than the whole ProLeague season! Anybody know the dates of the group stages?

In all honesty, they may want to hope for the  2 and 3rd spots lol.  Winning a CFU championship would be nice and I know that's the goal, but Seattle is good as hell this year.  Really wanna see a Trini team in that Champioin's league final, but Seattle will make that hard...

Connection, Caledonia defend T&T football in CFU semis tonight
… P/Rico and Antiguan clubs in the way at Marabella
By LASANA LIBURD (wired868.com)

“From a Trinidad and Tobago standpoint, we are out of the Olympic and World Cup qualifying campaigns,” said Neal & Massy Caledonia AIA coach Jamaal Shabazz. “So this gives us a chance to still keep in touch with the top teams in the CONCACAF region.
“For us and W Connection, qualification is more than just for our clubs.”
Caledonia AIA and W Connection will figuratively hoist the Trinidad and Tobago flag this evening in Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Championship semifinal match-ups against Antigua Barracuda and Puerto Rico Islanders from 6 pm and 8 pm respectively at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella.
The winners qualify automatically for the CONCACAF and meet in Thursday’s final at the same venue while the losers meet in a decisive play off on Thursday. Three of the four competing CFU clubs will advance.
The CFU champions will join a three team group that includes United States’ Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Seattle Sounders and Honduran club, Marathon. Seattle employs Trinidad and Tobago under-23 attacker Cordell Cato and US striker Eddie Johnson.
The CFU runner-up will face top Mexican side Chivas de Guadalajara and Guatemalan team Xelaju while third place wins a date with England star David Beckham’s LA Galaxy and El Salvador’s Isidro Metapan.
Connection coach Stuart Charles-Fevrier and Shabazz hope a good showing from the two Pro League teams at CONCACAF level can provide impetus for the stuttering local game.

Caledonia beats Barracuda to CONCACAF berth.
By Lasana Liburd (wired868).

Second half goals from Radanfah Abu Bakr and substitute Devon Jorsling created another piece of history for Neal & Massy Caledonia AIA tonight in Marabella as the “Eastern Stallions” qualified for the CONCACAF Club Championship with a 2-0 win over Antigua Barracuda in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) semifinals.

Barracuda was fast, energetic and resolute but rarely threatened as Caledonia reaped the rewards for its ambition down either flank.

W Connection trounce P/Rico Islanders for second CONCACAF spot.
By: Lasana Liburd (wired868).

The Trinidad and Tobago Pro League is assured two of three CONCACAF Club Championship spots available after Neal & Massy Caledonia and W Connection were both victorious in tonight's Caribbean Football Union (CFU) semifinal fixtures in Marabella.

Second half goals from Radanfah Abu Bakr and substitute Devon Jorsling created a piece of history for Caledonia AIA as the "Eastern Stallions" qualified for the CONCACAF tournament with a 2-0 win over Antigua Barracuda at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium.

And Connection was even more emphatic as the "Savonetta Boys" whipped Puerto Rico Islanders 4-1 in the second match of a double header.

Connection and Caledonia will meet from 8 pm on Thursday in the CFU finals while Barracuda and the Islanders will fight for one spot from 6 pm at the same venue.

Barracuda was fast, energetic and resolute but rarely threatened as Caledonia reaped the rewards for its ambition in the opening fixture.

Caledonia left winger Trayon Bobb and adventurous right back Kareem "Tiny" Joseph repeatedly stretched the Antiguan team before Cornelius Stewart conjured up the opener from the right wing.

Stewart, a St Vincent and the Grenadines international, gave a patchy performance on the night but produced a brilliant cross in the 64th minute and Abu Bakr, who snuck forward from central defence, rose to head the ball down to the left of goalkeeper Molvin James for the opener.

Caledonia did not keep the ball as well as coaches Jamaal Shabazz and Jerry Moe might have liked and lively Antiguan international striker Peter Byers kept the back four honest. But Jorsling came off the bench to settle the home team's nerves in the closing minutes.
