Bacchanal!:  The carnival Culture of Trinidad

~~~Peter Mason
This is a really great book to read as it chronicles the advent of Kaiso and carnival in Trinidad and Tobago.
I have the book and absolutely find it a valuable addition to any Historian's library on West Indian History.
I also found an abridged version online.
Although not the entire book, it is still great reading.  Any real trini would find its notes and descriptions fascinating.
