I told you guys a while ago that the PM has no interest in investigating Jack on this one as it will open-up a can of worms on where some of the money came for their last election campaign.
Jack is safe because if he is exposed then the current government will also be exposed. 
This is exactly the conundrum Kamla faces. If she does nothing and Jack gets in trouble, she will spend eternity as the PM who turned a blind eye to retain her position. If she hangs Jack, and its discovered she had knowledge of certain events, she's hung too. And if it came out that a single dollar from LOC2006 entered another account which was used to fund the elections, the govt will fall. Hmmmm
She could claim she didn't know and give the money back.
