Point taken Sam but Mannie Ramjohn track is not certified by the IAAF so no times recorded there can be ratified for any record purposes. As such the move was made to attract the top class athletes since no world rated athlete would waste time running somewhere where their performance will not be recognised.

Same problem applies to the tracks at Ato Boldon and Larry Gomes Stadium and, quite frankly, if the IAAF see the Dwight Yorke Stadium track now it would lose certification immediately. The Ministry of Sport and Sports Company need to get busy and fix all these tracks NOW!
