RT ran a long indoor and outdoor season.  Then he ran for T&T individual and relays...AFTER A VERY LONG and ardous season he ran 9.89 to win silver then ran relays for T&T also winning silver.

He was both indoor and outdoor champion too.  I think he set the collegiate record of 6.512 indoors that still stands..not so? LONG...HARD SEASON breds.

Flying all over the place both in the US and internationally including Colombia.

Simply put, RT is not a circuit runner, he is best suited for championships, running in fewer meets leading up to such an event. However he has to run to get paid and unfortunately that seems to be breaking down his body.

His frame (regardless of how much work he puts in at the gym) is not going to get more powerful/muscular anytime soon. It is what it is, and his coach needs to realize that and prepare him accordingly.

so u saying RT good at running 4 rounds but not good at 1 off races?  I always thought running 4 rounds at a major championship was harder.

Nah dat is not what he said. He said he is not a circuit runner. That means a huge quantity of meets which breaks him down. Rather fewer meets focussing on the bigger meets. However, he runs more meets to make the dough.

ok if that is what he is saying then RT needs to step up because Bolt, Asafa and others doing both.  Ato use to run on a regular(circuit) and perform at the major championships so this talk about RT breaking down sounds like an issue he needs to fix.
