What is this?

saw two of this growing behind my house....this one in the pic is at least 20 to 25cm...never seen anything like this before..the 'head' of both seems to be attracting all kinds of flies and little insects...the tip of the head has an open hole...

Yeah, looks like a mushroom. They tend to grow in really moist areas. Do you live near a river ? ( judging from the bamboo leaves, I would guess yes)

It is a fungus named Phallus indusiatus  :rotfl:, commonly known as bamboo fungus, bamboo pith, long net stinkhorn, crinoline stinkhorn or veiled lady.
