Beside bragging rights, qualification to the semifinals means:

1)   At least US$90,000
2) more games, more prep, and possibly more FIFA pts.

AND...

3) at least, $1,4000,000 at the Gold Cup
4) even more games with better and potentially more FIFA pts.
5) exposure exposure exposure...

How much of that prize money reaching the players?

Honestly, as a very biased Trini speaking, DR should be there.

Martinique beat French Guiana 3-1 and as a result eliminated them.

Cuba only needs a draw to qualify.

Jamaica needs a win.

T&T will play Martinique is the semis....

Cuba again... they almost scored....

Jamaica not playing fluid at all.

Reid and Gardener seems a cut above the rest.

Cuba look to go down the center while Jamaica is using the long balls and wing attack...

You are right about that. DR started their run too late.  But watching TT makes me wonder if the powers that be understand the gravity of our football. If DR had a better GK, we out sucking salt.

I'm sure qualifying for the Gold Cup will be that much harder for T&T.... again! But exactly which team in our group will stop the Reggae Boyz? :duel: :busshead:

And it certainly won't be T&T who will stop Jamaica's Reggae Boyz from lifting the Caribbean Cup for a SIXTH time. :shameonyou: :challenge:

Here I am. With the Reggae Boyz squad that we had my bold statement remains the same. Unfortunately, most of the players seeking a spot on the World Cup squad will be dropped. Weaknesses exposed.

So no Gold Cup for the Reggae Boyz in 2013 like the Soca Warriors in the past 2 Caribbean Cups. The only comfort is knowing that the Reggae Boyz are still capable of qualifying for the World Cup.

So friendlies will have to do before and during the Gold Cup.

Nice.  ;D Jamaica and T&T have something to boast about. Although Jamaica have more.
My next prediction is the Reggae Boyz will qualify for a second World Cup before T&T. And Jamaica will not miss consecutive qualifying for the Gold Cup like T&T because the 2014 Caribbean Cup will also be used as preparation for the 2014 World Cup.....and the trophy will be Jamaica's for the sixth time.
