Can footballers earn a decent living playing in these leagues?

I would have to think so, bc he turned down teams in the MLS, and sojourned in the USL for a short spell, plus he played in this league for two yrs with denizlispor, so this league must be lucrative,@ least more so that MLS.

There are players in the Turkish Leagu making over a million dollars a yr.

Hasan Sas, the ex midfielder for Galatasaray turned down offers from the Serie A to continue with Galat.

Just curious...outside of the big three Istanbul clubs (Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas)...are there any other big spenders?

There are players making a lot more than that.  This is the Turkish second division though.

Maybe Trazbonspor and Bursaspor, not sure.
