The Trinidad footballers are accustomed to playing only 30 minute each way and they have been taking special training at home to prepare for the 90 minutes of the British game.
That was interesting, I wonder when we started playing 45 minute halves?

In the late 60s. Games used to be 60 mins. Then around 69, POSFL started with 80. Then about a year later they were told to used fifa regulations.

How long was a "SSFL" game during the 60s? We might have to have a recall on dem awards?

I think it was 60 mins. When I played in QRC 71-73, I think it was 90 then.

Trying to help out an English fella with identifying the team and players in this photo. It was taken in March 1986 when he toured Trinidad and Tobago with Oakham School/Leicester U16 team. Anybody know de team and/or any players?
