Correct, started off well in the early 60s but was replaced by Deryk Murray. Had to compete with Murray and Hendricks for the rest of his career.

Technically Randall Lyon was the last white WK for the WI but as he didn't play for the WI in a Test match, I figure the answer stands.  ;)
