here is an interesting graph showing "Life Expectancy".
Global life expectancy has shown a general upwards trend since 1960, kind of in sync with the proliferation of production farming. Yield is higher - the quantity of food per acre of farm land has steadily increased over the years. We can now produce more food to feed the world masses.
I realize that production farming is but one variable in the equation (better health care is another), but it is a fact that we are living longer today than ever before in the history of the world (with maybe the exception of the characters in the Old testament).
So the question I pose (and I do not have an answer), if GMO food and production farming is killing us, why are we living longer? And if better health care can counteract the ill effects of 'bad food', is that so bad?
