Where was that energy and hustle they had against Costa Rica? Sam played sluggish with no hustle. Lets be real, this crop of players, have some potential. I am going hard on the defense, cause they cost us the game tonight. I expected more from them. I did not like the subs made, and there was no shape to the team tonight. They played poor, point blank. We were saved an ass wash from our keeper, he did a fantastic job tonight, and was man of the match for me.

I would argue that except for one or two positions including the GK, their players were better than ours as well.

hard luck boys. under all the dissapointment and old talk this is a good side. they should be kept in training and fed good teams to comepte against. but we all know that eh happening, is last minute prep right thru. and when next qualifiers hit we will cuss the coach and call the players shitongs.

good effort by coach cooper and staff. i wish more people knew how little support these guys got. give thanks they even manage to reach in panama

bless

Who coaching this team: Cooper or Corneal?  Why Corneal issuing instructions from the sideline?  He is the TD, not the coach.

He learn dat from Wim....when corneal was the U-17 coach I went to see them play agame against some Spanish side in the Marvin Lee and it was the same setup.....Corneal was on the sidelines not saying nothing but t was Wim doing all the talking at halftime.

I will never understand the T&T teams (at all levels) obsession with playing these senseless long passes from the back.  These passes typically get intercepted by the opposition, and then they launch counter attacks against us.  At ALL levels (Senior, under-23, under-21, under-18, under-17 etc) this has been our most glaring mistake --- these ridiculous long passes in the air from the back.

And that's just one of the many ridiculous aspects of our game.  It's not about fitness...not about skills...not about experience.  It's about common sense and having a lil' bit of football IQ.  We're severely lacking in this most important aspect of the game.
Careful Fidel men go start being analytical and start talking bout dey eh trust dey midfield and one amount ah cacaholeness, when all it takes is ah damn Coach (or TD :))to drill dat outta dem :)

As much as we want to be supportive and patriotic, playing that Panama team at home was always gonna be pressure...and that's before we actually see some of the ballers they had on the team...good effort and good luck to them youths.

Hopefully they get into good setups so they could hone they skills, and hopefully go on to rep we at U-20 and senior level.

what about when those coached team players go up against better players, who also coached to play as a team ?
Our boys were good, they have to be better..guys was trying to make passes to their teamates through Panamanian players constantly. How yuh could blame the coach for that..Forwards & midfielders were losing the ball, one v one. The boys had a bad game is all, they just have to continue working hard is all. X--- O --X. X was making pass to X like that, yuh blaming the coach for that. He have to coach National players that couldn't be done on this night.. Yuh doh think he wasn't wondering , as they were what was going on...What it could have been was the Panamanian youths were more mature on this day, they were on, and our boys were off..Nah, how yuh could go with one game and talk bout coaching, and 2 other games they were better as players and as a team..That Panama team would have beaten our seniors last night.
