ProLeague pioneer film maker passes away
« on: May 17, 2013, 07:46:37 AM »
Derek "Short Man" Elliott sadly passed away on Wednesday.

For those who didn't know Shortman, he was probably the best known media character around T&T football. He filmed virtually every Pro League video and filmed hundreds of Pro League games.
Everybody in football liked Short Man and he was easy to work with (well, most times!)

He will be sorely missed, both as a torch bearer for local football, and as a friendly face around the Pro League.

RIP Short Man   :beermug:

I'm pretty sure that TTPL release footage of highlights every week on their website and facebook page.

I would love to see an entire game, not the highlights if possible.

I have only seen a Pro League game twice in my life.

Trust me....highlights are better!

Seriously, most people struggle with a Chelsea/Man U/Barca 90 minutes unless they have a particular interest. But I know ACTS channel 9 show the whole 90 minutes of Central's games ans Wi Sports usually show the whole 90 minutes. Not sure where you can get access online though.

RIP Shorty. I had to agree that I enjoyed the highlights. But ever so often that should stream some of the games.
