i could address that defiency..when the other team have the balll everybody play defence..eg. when we have the ball, Costa Rica and Honduras immediately have how many players back, not counting the ones tackling the ball, i counted no less than 5 in strategic positions, Adjusting with movement of the ball. But oh gorm, if defenders at National level can't understand where the should be for every defensive formation, if National players has to be told when and how to cover, if a National player recieve a ball without it bouncing off to an opposing player, if National Players can't shield a ball, or head out and not up..then the issue is on field team selection. Irregardless of where the individual players play. Honduras passing the ball to men in the middle of a triangle of 3 of our men, without any fear of losing the ball, because no one fronting the pass, ..a National coach need to teach this ? fine tune yes, but every play..if we were getting an overwhelming support on offence it would be understandable, but 2 men in front, 3 men in back, and defensively George and Hyland in middle, which leaves us short JJ and Cato defensively...they are the weak links, we need them tackling and covering and centre backs covering wing backs and the cm covering the spaces, depending on attack side...attack coming from middle, then dependin on side, at least one wing, would be the 1st blocking point of the defensive triangle..we can't only see all our players only when we have the ball..and no pass should be coming thru the middle of 3 men at no time..that cause uncertainty, with who is to make the tackle, so no one goes... we teach these things in house league.
