That 2nd 400m Semi-Final above is loaded with practically all the previous favourites to make the Final.
I don't understand why they have placed most of the fastest 400m athletes from the Heats into the 2nd Semi-Final like that?
Some of those faster guys should have been placed in the 1st 400m Semi-final.
We may end up with a scenario where some of our fastest 400m men from semi-final 2 don't make the final while some of the slower 400m from semi-final 1 make the final.
This just makes no sense to me; can someone explain why that 2nd 400m semi-final is so loaded?

SocaPro someone will never be able to explain to you why the second semi is so stacked, because it is NOT a semi. Rather, its a final. A sectioned final at that.

SocaPro, read what you posted first again - it's 2 section FINALS, not semis, so the right guys are in the top-seeded race. Ooops Aviator already explained.

Thompson 10.07 had to run back to finish first. Long strides boy. Jamol James pull up after the finish line came close second to Thompson. New PB.
