This Peru-Denmark game is a lot of fun. Peru forwards need a bush bath.

Two smallest nations in w/c history drew their first two thrilling world cup openers against top ranking teams at different W/C tournaments.

T&T Vs Sweden '06

Iceland vs Argentina '18

Not about time brothers, it’s about who running our football... Trinbago could have been there all those times and this time but they keep supporting corrupt sellouts locally ...

THe biggest joke is the African teams have European coaches and playing European style football and always losing ...

Some common sense would be to start playing or developing an African brand of football instead of trying to play like a European club team

The matches getting more boring every 4 years with the same styles of football being recycled

Since after 1990 World Cup African teams have not proven that they belong, to many disappointments from then on and am not surprise of today's results from Nigeria"s game, no substance at all.

African football lost its soul a long time  ago...remember when it was at least entertaining to watch, Ghana was d last team dat showed glimpses of what we used to get in d 90s and dem ent even qualify........when was d last time nigeria produce ah okocha-esc player...too much rigid euro centric influence has crept into their football....yuh might still see glimpses at youth level but it disappear from senior ball completely

Die Mannschaft is in legitimate trouble with 5 plus stoppage to go, but they have the tools to overcome adversity. They're not the Netherlands. Captivating to watch their approach.

Happy for Mexico and good for Concacaf. The Germans played poised throughout the game, never panicked.

On the field is 11 v 11. The core of this Mexican squad has been together since teenagers. Congratulations to them.

All I have to say is Spain lost their first match and went on to win the 2010 World Cup. So I will not read much into Germany and Argentina first match in this year World Cup

Both those teams are still predicted to advance to the 2nd round.
