Without VAR Jedinak would be goalless. Two matches and two PKs.

Sisto favours going right about 100% of the time yet the Aussie defenders keep thinking his deception will take him to the left.  ::)

Why did The coach still take off Aguero? They need two strikers now.

Acuna play anything? Sampaoli might revisit that selection.

This might have a post-match boil. More cards may be in store.

Argentina just need some help from Nigeria tomorrow, as a avid fan of the sport it would be a travesty not to see Argentina and Messi in the 2nd round.

He have to start Dybala next game, enough of he and Messi plays the same position nonsense.

Sampaoli's reputation is dented.
Messi will probably retire (again).
Aguero is not a happy camper.
Sampaoli might not even make it to the next match.

Aside from Navas and Bryan Ruiz, the gap in quality between CRC players and the Brazilians is evident.  Venegas is particularly woeful today.

And that's why VAR is useful.  But where's Neymar's card?

No. It was for dissent when he tossed/pounded the ball in anger.

From what I saw initially, he should/could have been carded for the elbow in the neck.

If you are a true fan of the sport you'd want to see teams who deserve to be there make it, not a collection of mismanaged and underperforming stars.  Other teams are playing real ball for the opportunity to advance.  Even teams not expected to challenge are showing much more fight and resilience while losing than Argentina has thus far.  Between qualification and performance thus far Argentina needs to be put out of their misery and go home.
