ESPN TO SHOW WINDIES IN INDIA
« on: November 04, 2013, 12:10:57 PM »
ESPN Caribbean will present exclusive coverage of the West Indies tour of India beginning Tuesday at 11:20 p.m from Kolkata, continuing one of the most storied cricket rivalries in the sport’s history. All matches will air live on the ESPN Caribbean network and ESPN Play.

ESPN Caribbean will also air the half hour “West Indies Tour of India Highlights,” recapping each day’s action from the Test matches and an hour-long recap program of all the One-Day Internationals (ODIs).

West Indies face their hosts through 27 November in two Tests and three ODIs. All eyes will be on the 2nd Test, which will set the stage as the career finale for one of the game’s greatest batsmen, Sachin Tendulkar, playing in his 200th and final Test, in front his home-crowd at Mumbai. This match will also be celebrated as the 150th Test appearance by West Indian stalwart, Shivnarine Chanderpaul.

West Indies will be led by allrounder Darren Sammy as they look to ascend the International Cricket Council rankings once more. They are presently ranked at Number 6 on 99 points according to the ICC rankings released on Monday. India are listed third on 116 points.
