It's great to see their success and it's in part due to the new stadium - 10 years ago  you'd walk round Dartford and not know they had a club but now half the houses have Dartford scarves in the windows No wonder they're so busy!

It'd be great to see the application of that type of technology (if appropriate) to Trinidad on a larger scale - especially if they can ensure that a proportion of the building and architectural staff are local Trinibagonians

Living in the USA, I chose depends because I don't really know how the Football scene is in Trinidad. I would definitely build a huge complex with multiple fields for my neighborhood but I don't know if I'll actually fund money to the national Football foundation as it can be a little corrupted.

I would buy Civic and build a better stadium for the team. I'd also put my money into developing promising youth players from south. I'd turn Civic into the best team in CONCACAF.

Apparently, they've been rebuilding it for a couple of years! There were comments made at Akeem's funeral. The pitch is superb at the moment, but it is well protected. Once the refurbishments are completed, it will go back to being a community field and the guys I spoke to down in Point are concerned that the pitch will be ruined.

This whole concept of community fields is flawed. SPORTT invest money to create a decent venue, but it belongs to the Regional Corporations who don't understand football and insist the fields are available for all. Same problem at Ojoe Rd.

Create an open football field for everyone, but preserve your "Wembleys" for Pro & Super League football, Regional cup finals, school cup finals etc.

There must be an element of achievement and excitement about playing on an elite field. That's part of the whole cup final dream. If you can play their everyday, what's the big deal?

I'm not sure if the general public AND even some football officials see this historically doh-know-how-to-solve-this issue as being broken down so simply for problem fixing.
You might want to consider volunteering for a morning dateline-type show and an Andre the Fearless One radio spot to address this along with a bunch of football patriots who as a group appear non political.
