Kid could bowl also ,damn..I've never heard of any player anywhere having this kind of out put.
First off 400 + in 30 overs and now 5 wickets for 6 runs. Truly amazing .
So in 4 year's or so fingers crossed he continues on his path undeterred. We will have our no.2 spot set.
Lewis
Kallicharan
Lil B
Pooran
Pollard
Hosein
Ramdin --Katawoo
Cariah
Narine
Richards
Gabriel
Plus which ever new spinner coming to the fore.
Our batting looks set.
Allrounders look set.
Wicket keeping look set.
Most of the bowling looks set.
Needs Richards to keep working on his yorkers.
Gabby to rub onr some snake oil.
Very young team.
A team this talented needs a top coach and trainers. And a strong support staff ,can't have anybody getting hurt or upset ie lil b.
They must be trained by the best to eliminate any flaws in there game.

Or flash in the pan.Only he can show us , consistency and longevity will say.
I remember a kid from T.O made 100 points in a high school game.He went to US college but never made the NBA ,I guess the fact he never did it twice should've been a sign.
Wish Kirstan luck though ,because his scoring rate is phenomenal and unheard of.

Yo Fish

Last year Kallicharan led the T&T Under-15 team to victory in the regional Under-15 championships in Jamaica, finishing fourth on the list of top batsmen after scoring 192 runs and placing ninth on the overall bowling list, getting 17 wickets with his leg-spin.

Any comments now ....

Since last year I was following the youth.
Following up with these performances this year he is the real deal but as Quag say consistency will have to be the next bit of proof especially as they want him to punch above his weight now.

The advantage Lara had was Joey Carew and that environment but maybe the central village thing is just as good

Fish ...

Yes we agree he needs a mentor .

T&T have a lot of promising kids coming up , I hope they all get that proper guidance that is
so needed. Talent is there , we need to install that confidence , attitude , mental toughness ,
diet , fitness, etc as the greats had in our West Indian cricket history .
