Flew with them post 911 to Miami and have to say it was the best service we've ever had (could be airlines were hurting at that time) . Again in 2006 to Germany and service was proper as well as keeping schedules. A year or so we flew with them to Cuba, but was a packaged deal (we found the service a bit more herded.. and not personalized as before) But again, it was a charter - not sure it that means anything or not.

Overall - on time, no lost luggage, friendly service for the most part and seats are a tiny bit more roomy than WestJet.

* All flights originated from YYZ

My one and only experience was unpleasant.  While the plane and food was good, the service was less than satisfactory.  I flew with them to Italy (from YYZ) and I felt insulted and could only assume it was due to me being the only minority on that flight.  Service was beyond poor. Treated my wife and me like crap.
I complained upon my return and they gave me a $200 voucher. Haven't used it yet though.

I'd think twice about flying with them again. Westjet is better for service, Air Canada is tops.

Flew with them to London and Frankfurt several times, each time service has been satisfactory. Always on time, no lost luggage.
If cost is not an factor Air Canada is tops.
Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success

In general, airline service is not what it used to be ... and Transat doesn't pretend to be what it is not. So ... turned out to be good value for the service provided.

Found the service seamless and professionally delivered. No issues. Reasonably good customer service.

Opted for Transat primarily based on the convenience of the itinerary, rather than cost. No charter involved in my case, but I can see how a charter could lead to a different assessment.
