Lewis fired a knock of 106 from 103 balls, including 11 fours and three sixes in an innings lasting 155 minutes as the Emrit XI declared on 252-6 in reply to the Mohammed’s XI 146-4 declared, on the rain-affected first day Saturday.
Lewis’ opening partner Jeremy Solozano also contributed greatly to that score with a knock of 93 from 188 balls including seven fours and two sixes. For the Mohammed XI, Daniel St Clair had the best bowling figures with returns of four for 26.
The Mohammed XI started their second innings reply but the game was called off with them on 20 for 1. On Saturday vice-captain Nicholas Pooran hit an even half century on a rain-affected opening day.
