Breds, I happy for these ladies. I think they performed creditably. Yes, they are no match for Cuba, PR, DR, Ven as yet. But given the resources, international tours, etc, they could flourish. God Bless Lady Warriors!!!

What is the average age of most of the team? This team can set the stage for future teams if they receive the right investment with enough resources and future competitive games

The DR was by 8 pts. I think with a good program we can catch DR. But to match Cuba, the program has to be extraordinary. Creditably. Hopefully next 4 yrs with a much improve program for women, they could be in medal contention. But that is a big IF.

From the NBFTT

The National Basketball Federation of Trinidad and Tobago would like to congratulate our female senior national team for a job well done at the CAC Games held in Vera Cruz Mexico 2014. Our ladies did us proud as they secured 5th spot today after defeating El Salvador 61-70. We continue to face hurdles each day but accomplishments like these allow us to continue what we are doing. This is just the beginning of the journey. Stay tuned!!!!!
