Hello All,

I thought I would start up a thread for this 2015 World Cup Group B encounter.

Ireland won the toss and have put the West Indies in to bat.

West Indies are currently 39/2 in the 10th over.

West Indies have made 304/7 off of their allotted 50 overs.

Yeah, considering that West Indies were 80-odd for five down in the 23rd over of their innings, they did well to post a total of 304.

But Ireland are certainly going at a very good pace in its chase.

56/0 in the ninth over at the moment

Ireland in cruise control. Looks like they will make the runs with 5 overs to spare. Shame!!!

Congratulations Ireland. This was not an upset. It was expected... We have no business participating in the World Cup.Its a shame the ICC haven't imposed sanctions on the board. I would preferred one of the minor countries to be given a chance in instead of us. We don't deserve to be here. Its not OUR right..It is a privilege and we don't deserve to be there.

Agree 100%.  This is completely embarrassing and disrespectful to West Indian cricket supporters.
Congrats to Ireland but there is no way this WI team should lose to them ;man for man we are better, but it's like the players have forgotten how to play, or worse, they just don't seem to care. I say send them home and end this farce now...enough is enough.

Those guys clearly are not physiologically in a good space right now. As usual we lost early wickets, but we did well to recover. The bowling was truly the let down. Against a team like Ireland Roach and Taylor should be taking 5-6 wickets between them and as recently as a few months ago they would have.

Even without Pollard and Bravo, this is still a skilled bunch, but as usual the mental focus is lacking.

Plenty ppl was ponging Sammy, but if half the team had his passion and mental resolve for the game we would be winning games.

I agree they are definitely not mentally focus. Too many disruptions and tinkering of the team. Saw a media clip of Sammy doing an interview. He looked like he was ready to snap.  This is unlike the temperament that we know of him. This tells me the fellas are trying to make the best of what they have but the board fick it up and I believe the team is being left in the dark on various decisions.

Really not surprised. After all this contemporary WI cricket we talking about. I will be surprised if this team get past the quarterfinal and will not be surprised if they do not reach quarterfinal.
