Marcus Duncan? For real. I thought this guy would have performed better. With all the reasoning and hope.. WE AINT WINNING A MEDAL IN 4X100 with Marcus Duncan in the mix. We might not even win one in the pan am much less worlds. .

The Worlds team hasn't been picked yet so Marcus Ducan is not guaranteed to be on the team especially if certain other sprinters who have ran the World Champs qualification standard this season can prove their fitness and form.

Maybe he can get into the right form for the 4x100.

My cuz seen Brown at LGS a few weeks ago. He is hoping to get a race in before the team is chosen. I hope either him or Burns gets on the team. I think a Bledman, Sorrillo Burns and Brown team will give us a fighting chance at a medal..

Indeed.. Poor times. I think Cedenio might be carrying something.. or maybe he is just toying around.

I don't want to see Brown on the 4x1 team unless he can officially and legally run the World Champs qualification standard of 10.16 this season like most of the other guys on the team.

Quite possible as he pulled our a few preparation races in Europe in recent weeks.

Not sure what happened to Janeil Bellille but very disappointing performance from her this morning in the 400m Heats/Semis with 54.41 for 7th place. Her SB of 52.95 would have quailfied her for the final.

The Men's 400m times from the Heats were relatively slow this morning but maybe most of the athletes were taking it easy until the final? However the ones who took it too easy didn't make it.

Braylon Taplin did not make it. Is  he at the the same school with Lendore? Mayers did not make it also!! If you can't make it in these games, it go be difficult for WC.

I'm with you on that. Wouldnt be fair to the others.

I looked at the race again. Cedenio was just trying something out. He was not expecting the field to be that strong in the beginning. Coming back from 5th to 2nd may be a sign that everything is okay.

Taplin and Lendore were both at the same school. Taplin never rebounded to the form he was before his injury. This may be a challenge to Grenadas hopes for forming a solid 4x100. Payton Hazard is healthy, wonder why he wasnt at the Pan am..

Performances have been very disappointing. Mayers always starts off with promise, then fades at the end. Is he being coached by Dr Hypolite? I thought Jehue and him train together..

Bledman has to win Gold.. Plain and simple. He needs to get confidence to compete on the circuit against Gay, Gatlin, Powell, Rodgers and the others. His start needs to improve. Maybe he needs another camp?

All our male sprinters could benefit in one way or another from working with Ato but I believe that Ato is not going to stand for any lazy BS about them avoiding running enough 200's to help improve their speed endurance. Ato can definitely help to improve most our sprinters starts and drive phase.

However I think Ato has got too many other things on his plate to waste his time on any of our athletes who are not serious enough to put in the required work to get them to the next level and into the sub-10 club as male sprinters or into the sub-11 club as female sprinters.

I know there was a time when Ato was asked to advise the track team. I think he helped out for a little while.

The NAAA is not open to having a guy like Ato tell them what to do. My guess is that Ato would clean up the NAAA by getting rid of 75% of them. He knows what to do to get  TT forward in Track and field.

So the next option for him is to probably set up his own camp. I think he may be going in that direction. His recent success with KSF certainly justifies doing so.

Trinis have an embarrassing habit of celebrating prematurely. Why not wait until the competition has ended and not make assumptions?

I want her to win too but won't celebrate until the final throw.

Disappointing... unto the world champs KAB.

I think both KAB and MLA will improve if they work with Ato.

Why is KAB not performing at her best when it matters most?

Lets see how they do in the 4x1 relay.

All of them can benefit from working with Ato so I don't know why they are all ignoring the elephant in the room who can help them to perform at their very best when it matters most if only they reach out for that help.

No wonder very few track fans now respect the times that they run in T&T as they seldom reproduce those times when it matters most outside of T&T.

Lets see if they can use the 4x1 relay team to redeem themselves by winning a medal there.
