Email Shows CNN Contributor, Now DNC Chairwoman, Tipped Off Clinton On Town Hall Questions

http://www.westernjournalism.com/email-shows-cnn-contributor-now-dnc-chairwoman-tipped-off-clinton-on-town-hall-questions/

Donna Brazile, who was a regular contributor to CNN before she was picked to head the Democratic National Committee, gave inside information to the Clinton campaign before a March town hall, according to a leaked email released by WikiLeaks.

Brazile was tapped to lead the DNC after previous leaked emails showed that former DNC Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., worked to help Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at the expense of primary challenger Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

A March 12 email from Brazile, leaked as part of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s emails, has as its subject line, “From time to time I get the questions in advance.”

1. CNN seems not to mind compromising professional standards of objectivity vis-a-vis skewering Donald Trump.

2. Ordinarily they would have been all over Hurricane Matthew but campaign season relegated the loss of life in the unfashionable South to footnotes on the ticker tape.

Whereas, four years ago, also in the lead up to a national election, Hurricane Sandy had them bubbling. Even given the distortions in economic losses and fatalities, there is persisting human suffering that has not been captured sufficiently on CNN.

The undecided call the shots this time around.

In my view they were largely NOT undecided. They were silent about their preference.

Given the polarities involved in the election, I think not much more than a plausible minority of voters truly would have been undecided as to whom they preferred.

See ah man face, buh yuh cyah see him intention.

lord where to start...this was a status quo candidate in a change election.  i agree with AS' assertion that undecideds did not decide this election.  i think voter turnout hurt Hillary. she counted on some sections of the electorate support but she miscalculated.  i remember 4, 8 years ago every black barbershop had an Obama poster/sticker;not so this time around.   oh well, let's see who trump puts in his cabinet, that will tell us something about his intentions

Third party voters in Florida, had they voted for Hillary, would have swung the election in her favor.  Latinos in your neck of the woods really f**k we up good and proper too.

Watching the news and seeing middle school students chanting "build that wall" and "white power", I even saw a photo on Twitter with some KKK me,bets in NC on an overpass in their outfits waving their flags. This is some troubling times!

Quote
At Wellesley College in Massachusetts, alma mater of Hillary Clinton, two male students from nearby Babson College drove through campus in a pickup truck adorned with a large Trump flag, parked outside a meeting house for black students, and spat at a black female student, according to campus black student organizations.

After being ejected by the campus police, the two students bragged in a video that was widely viewed over social media.

Reports of hostility toward minorities were not limited to university campuses. In Durham, N.C., walls facing a busy intersection were painted with graffiti Tuesday night with the message, “Black lives don’t matter and neither does your votes,” according to local news reports.

Also according to local news reports, a baseball dugout in Wellsville, N.Y., was spray painted with a swastika and the message “Make America white again.” Another swastika, replacing the “T” in Trump, appeared on a storefront in Philadelphia, along with “Sieg heil 2016.”

Incidents were also reported at several high schools. At York County School of Technology in York, Pa., a video circulated of students carrying a Trump sign and yelling “white power” as they walked through the hall on Wednesday. “The whole situation is absolutely horrible,” someone posted on the PTA’s Facebook page.

Students at Royal Oak Middle School in Royal Oak, Mich., chanted “build the wall” in the cafeteria on Wednesday, according to a statement by Shawn Lewis-Lakin, the superintendent, who said a video was shared on social media.

Throughout the week, threatening messages on social media against racial and religious minorities and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people have spiked.

Racist episodes occur regularly at places throughout the United States, including college campuses. Mr. Trump’s election, though, seems to have worked as an accelerant.

But the police said that at least some reported incidents on campuses were fake. A Muslim student at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette who said she was attacked Wednesday by two men — one wearing a Trump hat — recanted her story on Thursday, admitting she had made it up, the police said.
