3 corners...3 goals...no AGGRESSION " defending the corners/set plays ..
but happy these guys getting 3 matches vz top quality teams...they would not get those matches any other way...

MUKETTE ...depending on his next move ( club )...would be a great addition to the senior team.
Little Magician is King.......ask Jorge Campos

The whole team looking poor. It's hard to distinguish between players from the first half. John was the only player that caught my eye and that's primarily because he's working hard.

Did the coach Zoran Vraneš make any positive changes in the half time break?

Team seems to be defending in the same clueless manner.

How long has Zoran Vraneš been working with this team?

Not sure regarding this tournament, but there was a report saying some of the players he worked with couldn't travel to PR. Not sure how many are on this trip.

This T&T team looking real lost out there on the field.  Fellas out of position...making careless passes...and looking like they nervous and intimidated by the Uruguayan jersies.

The dumbest people on earth are generally located in comment sections of websites all over the world.

We still cannot produce a decent youth keeper.

Well we have dat Ranjitsingh fella, but me eh know if anybody ever call him.

The starting keeper should have been Aaron Enil from Jabloteh.

But they wanted a scapegoat for the U23 losing in the last tournament (same one where we had problems with visas and half the team reached with the other half reaching a day or 2 before the game)

we get a cut ass in the first game n they cut him apparently
n call up the next fella who is on the bench in this game. Some foreign based fella

Yes, the team played badly, but we to give the coach a little bit of slack here. With all the bachanal that they had for PR and all the changing players, these guys don't seem settled. They still looking like U-19 in their thinking. Did some on the guys from Uru played in the recent WC in NZ about a month ago? it shows. They show so much confidence with the ball. Appears to always have a man free. Our guys don't have it. As yet. atleast?

Vranes expecting better showing in remaining Pan Am matches.
By Shaun Fuentes (TTFA).

Despite losing their opening match 4-0 to Uruguay at the ongoing Pan American Games on Monday, Trinidad and Tobago Men’s Under 23 head coach Zoran Vranes is backing his team to come back strongly in their remaining matches against Paraguay and Mexico.

T&T found it difficult to match their South American opponents at the Hamilton Pan American Stadium.
Fabricia Duarte opened the scoring in the 5th minute after goalkeeper Javon Sample failed to claim on a corner kick.

Uruguay would double their lead in the 20th when Fererico Ricca headed home from a corner. Nicolas Albarracin then struck a good one which beat Sample to put Uruguay 3-0 ahead on the half hour mark.

Alvin Jones, who would later be ejected in the 59th minute, came closest for T&T with a deflected effort before the break.

Brian Lozano then completed the rout with a free kick strike in the 68th minute.

T&T got more into the match after the break and started to see a bit more of the ball but there was not much offering to trouble Uruguay on the day.

Vranes conceded that his opponents were too much over the 90 minutes.

“We faced very strong opponents and they very inspired,” Vranes told TTFA Media.

“Their team has a lot of experience and with players from the Under 20 World Cup. We were missing some key players like Corbin and Winchester who are with the senior team. But it was a good exercise because these are the level of matches that will be good for the players at this age.

“We are getting a good period together here with the training and of course these matches will come in very good for us. Hopefully the team can grow and the players will benefit from it. I expect we will give a better showing in the next two matches,” Vranes added.

Paraguay and Mexico drew 1-1 in the other Group B game on Monday while Brazil defeated Canada 4-1 and Panama beat Peru 2-1 a day earlier in Group A action.

T&T’s Men will face Paraguay on Friday while the Women take on Colombia on Tuesday in Hamilton.

Perception is impactful. Of course it won't affect my direct interaction because these individuals understand that football talent is global and individual. BUT, there is a narrative about our players that is much of our undoing ... and episodes like today don't help in terms of what is viewed as our best product.

Listening to this game, I was cringing. Young players in Uruguay have a VERY, VERY professional disposition even at 14/15, and this builds culturally through each age group. Each year there's an evaluation of whether a player gets to stay with the club or gets cut and the players approach their matches and training with a business-like approach that demonstrates immense maturity. Any player seeking to enter that environment from outside can't be [considered] amateurish or naive. And that's how we were depicted today. Who seriously needs an injection of that into a culturally professional environment with many already gifted players?
