Wanderers For Sale For 30 Million
By Robilaz (SBNATION).

Would you rather... Buy half of Kevin de Bruyne, or a whole football club? If the latter is your preferred choice, then let's talk business!

In this wild and wonderful world of modern day football the fees being bandied about for half decent footballers is astronomical. With the news that our oil-rich neighbours Manchester City are on the verge of snapping up Chelsea reject Kevin De Bruyne for 58 million (!!), it's also been reported that Bolton Wanderers are for sale for nearly half that fee.

This news comes from the highly credible source that is everyone's favourite Football League reporter Alan Nixon in today's edition of everyone's favourite daily newspaper, the Daily Star.

Wanderers owner Eddie Davies has apparently made the club available for just 30 million, although the 180 million that Bolton owe to Davies must surely be a concern for any interested party.

Davies has reportedly brought his ongoing funding of the club's activities to an end, and it was this week revealed that the failure to find additional investment has seen the club take out a 6 million loan with a London-based financial firm.

It remains to be seen whether anybody will be interested in snapping up Wanderers for 30 million, but in this current market of players such as Raheem Sterling, Andy Carroll, David Luiz, Juan Mata, Axel Witsel and Angel Di Maria all being sold for more surely someone will be interested. Maybe. Please?

The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.
