Glad to see two former players doing their part to help football in T&T at the grassroots level. Good job guys.

Good to see Stern involved in coaching, does he hold any badges?

Sherwood is doing a top class job in the youth football scene. He is doing it the right way by developing technique with intensity from a young age so when they hit 15/16 and come up against it at u17 level If selected to a National team it will greatly improve our chances because they will be able to play at a faster pace and match up with the rest of Concacaf who train this way since they are kids too.

Far too many youth coaches skip development of technique, training with intensity, constructive criticism, tactical awareness and roles of the individual on the pitch to create teamwork etc.

Everything for them is to win some youth league and think of themselves instead of their players and the long term benefit of coaching them the right way, like La Foucade, Jean Lillywhite and now Sherwood will do. They see the big picture.

I only hope Stern does it this way too. Those guys have seen it all as players, the demands it takes to be able to compete at a higher level. The players have to be shown that intensity of training and the coaches have to deliver a detailed development plan for the technical ability , tactical ability etc from a young age.

Good luck Legend 14...Hopefully more will follow

Extremely proud of one of our young Academy players Mason Rodas who spent a week in England training with English Premier League Team Crystal Palace's FC Foundation Program. Mason was selected as one of the top two players amongst the first team group. What I found more impressive was the fact that he collected his MVP award wearing an Arsenal Shirt! smile emoticon Well done Mason!
