« on: January 08, 2016, 07:01:26 AM »
Congratulations to Mariah Shade in securing her first professional contract.
She will be suiting up for Club US Rouvroy who play in the FÉMININE 2ÈME DIVISION (Group A)
Mariah is a very dangerous striker whose consistent work ethic and timely goal scoring abilities will benefit her new club.
The Soca Warrior Forum wishes Mariah all the best in her debut this coming Sunday.
Your Warrior family is cheering you on from afar and are looking forward to having you join the Women for Concacaf in Houston in early February.
Best of luck  :wavetowel:

Shade enjoying “French” experience .
By Shaun Fuentes (Guardian).

National women’s team player Mariah Shade believes her time with French Second Division team Union Sportive Rouvroy will push her to becoming a better player as she looks ahead to several more international appearances for the Women Soca Warriors outfit.

Shade has played one game and scored for her club a few weeks ago on her debut and she netted a perfectly executed effort in the 5-1 win over Guyana on Tuesday in Houston, USA.

“It’s a great experience for me so far being able to get a feel of professional women’s football in Europe. I’ve settled in well at the club and I’ve gotten my first game and my first goal out of the way. I think it’s a good development for me personally and I am looking forward to see how the rest of the season goes as I am on a five-month contract with the club,” Shade said.

Commenting on the T&T team’s performance at the CONCACAF Olympic qualifiers, she added: “So far we have achieved our goal which was to get to the knockout stage and now we have a great opportunity to qualify for the Olympics. I think if we can really come together and play maybe the best game that we are capable of then we should definitely feel we are in with a chance on Friday against the US.”

The real measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.
